Prohibiting Public Educators From Providing Medical Advice

The legislation prohibits public educators from making recommendations for any vaccine or medical procedure and requires that any such recommendation must initiate from a medical provider. Both Republican Representative Buddy Mincey (Livingston Parish) and Republican Representative Thomas Pressley (Caddo and Bossier Parishes) strongly opposed this legislation on the House floor, where it died.
